Relax, release and be thankful!


Let's face it, the holidays can be a double-edged sword. The holiday season conjure up memories of joyous moments, but they can also remind us of our losses. In addition, the holidays also bring a degree of stress and frenzy as we all shop for the perfect gifts for our families and loved ones. So, it's important to remind ourselves to relax, release and be thankful! Don't forget the intent of the season and the reason why you want to share these moments with those in your life. It's a perfect time to release all the negative emotions and ill feelings that we may have towards others most of the year. We don't want to begin a new year with yesterdays baggage. And most of all, it's an excellent time to give thanks for the smallest of things that bring us comfort and pleasure. There are many things in our daily lives that will cause us to pause and give thanks. The very fact that you are able to read this post is a reason to be thankful. Make your day count! Share a smile with someone! Offer to assist someone! Give a compliment! Buy a cup of coffee for your local public servants, who protect you in your community and keep you safe! They work hard and deserve a small token of thanks!
